Terrelle Pryor, the nation's most coveted high school football player, selected Ohio State as his college destination on Wednesday. Pryor made the announcement in the Jeannette HS auditorium at noon.
Pryor, a 6-foot-6, 235-pound quarterback from Jeannette, PA, finally ended what was arguably the most hyped recruiting process in recent history.
Pryor said Saturday that he was down to two schools, but did not mention which schools they were. On Wednesday, he said he narrowed it down to archrivals Michigan and Ohio State.
"Michigan is a great school and it was a tough decision," Pryor said. "I like the coaches there. I've known them since they were at West Virginia. I seriously considered them right up until the end, but Ohio State was where I felt it."
Pryor was set to sign with the Buckeyes on National Signing Day on Feb. 5, but held off after a conversation with his father, who wanted him to take another look at Penn State and take an official visit.
"It was just the right fit," Pryor told Rivals.com late Tuesday night. "The coaches, the comfort level, the players and the signing class they had. I am very comfortable with all of it, and I became friendly with the other recruits throughout the process.
"But in the end it came down to what was right for me," continued Pryor. "And after a lot of thinking, talking and consideration, it came down to Ohio State."
Pryor was the USA Today Offensive Player of the Year and was the MVP of the US Army All-American Bowl.

Titan Track And Field
The Gadsden City High School Track and Field team has been hard at work this year. Coach Gulledge has some fresh legs as they only lost 6 players due to graduation and have a promising freshman class that's earning some recognition. In this first article we'll take a look at the Titan boys. You sports fans may have seen some of this talent on the football field this past season. Wide Receiver Kendall Kelly shows that the speed that helped him snag the pigskin can possibly put him into the track and field state championships. He currently has the 8th fastest time in the 100 yard dash in the state! Darrell Smith, a triple jumper, made it to the state championship last year an looks to repeat that task as well this year. Terry Bates is competing in his senior year and wants to finish on top in the hurdles. He's already placed in the top 8 in the 300 hurdles. Tylan Fennell is just behind Terry making it to state last year as well. Shikkeron Ware finished 6th at the Hoover meet and looks to get into state championships this year (Do you sense a trend here?). Two freshmen that are making and impact are Garric Hawkins, who's running the 800, 1 mile and 4x800 relay, and Terrick Wright who cleared 5'10 in the high jump at one of this years meets. Coach Gulledge has his eyes on both of these guys as they progress over the next three years. That's a look at the boys team. Our next article will cover the Titan girls. Both teams will be at JSU Saturday for some competition at the college campus.
